Why did Kyrie Irving leave the Cavaliers?

When Kyrie Irving was selected number one overall by the Cavaliers in 2011 it was supposed to signal a refresh for the organization after the loss of LeBron James the previous summer. Kyrie was setup to be ‘the man’ in Cleveland. That was the case, for a few years, at least.
