A video on YouTube has finally broken the incredible 10 billion view-mark for the first time ever, and it’s a tune that most of us are probably familiar with.

If you have been on the internet (or had kids) anytime since 2016, you’d have become accustomed to Pinkfong’s hit, Baby Shark. The catchy song and dance video for children is the first video to hit 10 billion views, with it generating two billion views in the first year and a half alone.

Since then, it’s gotten over seven billion more views—lots of kids replaying the song over and over to their parents’ dismay, no doubt—leading it to become the most-watched video on the streaming platform to date.

“We are delighted to announce that our beloved Baby Shark has recorded another remarkable milestone,” said Min-seok Kim, CEO of Pinkfong, as per Billboard.

“It has been a truly meaningful journey to witness how Baby Shark has connected people around the world, and we can’t wait to introduce Baby Shark’s further adventures that will bring unparalleled experiences to even more fans everywhere,” he added.

If you’re surprised, YouTube is serious business with the younger crowd. In fact, TechSpot noted that six of the top 10 most-viewed videos on the site are catered towards kids.

Well, with global superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo dancing to the song in an advertisement, and Baby Shark NFTs being an actual thing, there’s no doubt this tune has cemented itself into pop culture for years to come.
